Golden Origami Heart

Heute möchte ich euch eine etwas andere Karte zeigen wie bisher. Sie hat einen etwas japanischen Touch.

Today I want to show you a card that is a little bit different than my other cards so far. It has a touch of Japanese style. 

 

Verwendet habe ich eine Stanz Schablone von Neat and Tangled. Zuerst habe ich das Herz auf ein Stück goldenes Glitterpapiert ausgestanzt und dann nochmal auf Origamipapier, dass ich mal vor Jahren in Japan gekauft hatte. Beide Stanzteile habe ich dann miteinander kombiniert. Für den Rahmen habe ich das Glitterpapier benutzt und für den inneren Teil das Origamipapier. 

I used the die from Neat and Tangled. First I die cut the heart on a golden glitter paper and then a second time on a origami Paper that I bought in Japan years ago. I combined both of this die cuts. I used the glittering one as frame and the origami one for the inside triangles of the heart. 

 

 

Um die Karte ein wenig hervorstehen zu lassen, habe ich das Herz nochmal drei mal auf schwarzem cardstock ausgestanzt und sie dann alle zusammen geklebt. Damit das Herz schön glänzt, habe ich Glossy Accents verwendet. Ich hatte lange überlegt, welchen Hintergrund ich für das Origamiherz vewenden soll. Nichts schien wirklich zu passen. Zufällig entdeckte ich dann Texturpapier. Es hat hervorragend gepasst, weil die Oberfläche etwas rau ist. Für den zusätzlichen Hintergrund habe ich dann nochmal das Glitter und Origamipapier benutzt.

To get a little bit dimension, I die cut the heart three times again on a black cardstock and glued all the hearts together at the end. I put glossy accents on the whole heart to get the glossy effect, what I really like. I need a long time to chosse the paper for the background of this heart. The problem was that I coulnd't find a suitable paper for the origami design. Then I found textured Paper by chance. It was perfect for the Origami heart, because the surface of the paper is a bit rough. For the additional background I used gold and origami paper again. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
